The Royal, Illustrious, Venerable and Ancient Sacramental Brotherhood of Our Father Jesus Nazarene, Holy Mary of Greater Pain and Holy Sepulcher has held a funeral march on Good Friday in Marbella, with which the Yacente has been moved through the main streets of the city accompanied by the Band of bugles and drums of the Tercio de la Legión.

On the other hand the Brotherhood of Our Lady of Solitude has developed a march that has started at 9:30 p.m. from the Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation, with a “Very sober and solemn Virgin” and that has passed “in silence, without a music band and without a crown as a sign of mourning for the victims of the war in Ukraine”, according to the older sister, Isabel Mata.

The throne has been carried by 60 people and has had a procession of 70 mantillas and about 200 Nazarenes in a funeral march in which he has stood out “the sound of the pitchfork of the men of the throne”, mainly as it passes through Calle Virgen de los Dolores due to its narrowness.

Another of the most special moments of the procession has been the act that has been carried out inside the Church before the departure, where the first movement of the throne of the Virgin “It has become dark and only with the candles” of the invocation, being “a small scene with three life-size crossings”, Mata has underlined. During the running of the bulls, the Marbella Musical Band played “a funeral march” for the meeting of the mother with her son.
