The city of Estepona will host this weekend the ‘VI Exhibition of manga, video games and alternative culture EsteponGO!’, to be held on April 30 and May 1 at the Municipal Stand of the Fair and Sports Park, an event that will have more than 80 recreational activities between workshopstalks or contests, as reported on Wednesday by the Councilor for Sport and Youth, José Antonio Bandera.
The mayor announced the event together with the representative of the Fundación Infancia Solidaria and de Eventos GO!, David Ferrer León, noting that it has become a reference appointment in Andalusia within the scene geeky and it has established itself as a leisure alternative that grows every year in quality and in the number of visitors.
The municipal official has reported that the event will be charitable and part of the proceeds obtained will go to operate in Spain on a child suffering from heart disease and that in his country of origin he does not have access to this type of surgery. This action can be carried out thanks to the agreements that the NGO Infancia Solidaria maintains with different Andalusian hospitals.
Lastly, the councilor recalled that EsteponGO! It is not only aimed at young people, but also at families, which is why a exhibition dedicated to the world of superhero comics Marvel and DC with spectacular replicas and accessories.
For his part, Ferrer commented that during these two days the attendees will be able to enjoy more than 80 activitiesamong which the talk offered by the well-known voice actor Antonio Esquiviaswhich voices, among others, the famous American actor Kelsey Grammer, ‘Supercoco’ and some characters from The Simpsons such as Bob.
The event will also count with the presence of the new revelation of magic on Tik Tok, ‘Inmagic’which has more than a million followers and ‘Blaster Variety’, which will hold an exhibition of urban dance. In addition, the traditional runway will be offered cosplay and the K-Pop dance contest, where there will be the presence of the cosplayer Hideki, Krispunzie Tania León, Cuky María and Distubia.
With regard to the development of this leisure event, David Ferrer has reported that attendees will find different areas defined according to the activity offered. So there will be a main stage set aside for K-pop dance competitions, cosplay and various activitiesyes; a place for talks where guests, youtubers and influencers will meet with the public; a gamer area with more than 12 full seats with the latest market and tournament news.
