This Thursday the Design Week Marbella 2022 was inaugurated, the great event that turns the Costa del Sol until the 28th, into the international capital of design, interior design, art and architecture.

The mayor, Mario Jiménez, the councilors Marcos Ruíz and Paqui López, as well as the area director Pilar Zúñiga attended the meeting on behalf of the Manilva City Council.

Held at the Palacio de Congresos de Marbella, more than 450 national and international firms and brands were present at a different and innovative fair, which brought together more than 15,000 visitors last year.

Through these types of acts, it is also intended to make the fight against bullying visible with the motto: “Art and Fashion against bullying” where a painting by Pablo Custeau, three sculptures by Isabel Soto and a painting by Francisco Alarcón are exhibited. . Sales, if they occur, will go to the AEPAE (Spanish Association for the Prevention of Bullying). The Manilva Consistory collaborates in this initiative.

Brochures of the municipality’s tourist offer are handed out at the Manilva stand, as well as promotional videos repeatedly projected on a TV screen.
Relevant personalities such as Carmen Sánchez Sierra, Territorial Delegate for Employment and Economic Transformation of the Junta de Andalucía; Carmen Díaz, General Director of Culture of the Marbella City Council or Laura de Arce, General Director of Tourism of the Marbella City Council, have also been interested in this act.

The municipal officials agreed that this is a good opportunity to promote Manilva in a level Forum on the Costa del Sol.
