The Diputación de Málaga, with the collaboration of the participating municipalities, launches the 1st Provincial Cup of Petanque.
Manilva will host this new competition, in which the Malaga municipalities of Algarrobo, Carratraca, Casabermeja, Colmenar, Fuente de Piedra, Genalgualcil, Humilladero, Istán, Jimera de Líbar, Pizarra and Tolox will also participate.
The I Provincial Petanque Cup will be held next month with the initial phase, or in groups.
Manilva, whose participants are integrated into the CASAMA Club, is included in group 1 with the municipalities of Genalguacil, Istán, and Jimera de Líbar.
As reported by the mayor of Sports, Manolo Gil, the Manilveña headquarters corresponds to the first day and will take place in the Petanque City of Sabinillas on October 2 from 10:00 a.m.
The second appointment will take place on October 9 in Istán.
The final phase, which will be accessed by the best three from each group, will be held in Humilladero on the 23rd of the same month.
The Provincial Cup will be played in the mixed categories of over 50, over 60 and over 70 years old.
