The Marbella Town Hall is undertaking the Comprehensive remodeling of the civic center of the Plaza de Toros neighborhoodan action that is planned to be run before the end of the yearas announced this Friday by the mayor, Ángeles Muñoz.

This has been highlighted by the councilor in a visit she has made to the works together with the councilor for the branch, Diego López, and that of Transport, Enrique Rodríguez, where she has indicated that “it is a public equipment that was in disuse and that is going to be put in value so that you can be used by groups and neighborhood associations in the area.

He has underlined that “it is a major work that contemplates the renovation of all building facilitieswhich has a total area of ​​120 square meters, and which will also include the reorganization of the parking area of ​​the Place de la Concordia to add 35 new places”.

At the same time, he stated that “it is a project that responds to the willingness of the government team to improve neighborhoods of the municipal term so that the citizens enjoy a better quality of life”.

the place that will house the civic center is located on the ground floor of a multi-storey building and will have a total of four officesa distributor with access to the adjoining square, a multipurpose room, two toilets and a warehouse.

Previous performances include dismantling of toilets and existing plumbing and the removal of the electrical installation and carpentry, as well as the demolition of interior walls to adapt the space to the new design.

The reform will contemplate the installation of a plumbing network for the water supply, the modification of the electrical panel with the placement of LED ceiling lights to adapt it to current needs and the conditioning of a fire-fighting system in compliance with current regulations.

In addition, it will be carried out the execution of partitions depending on the new distribution, the placement of a laminate flooring, the painting of the entire premises and the thermoacoustic insulation. “It is a complete action that will leave the center in an ideal state so that it becomes a meeting point for the residents of the area and promotes neighborhood participation,” Muñoz highlighted.
