The Marbella Town Hall has completed several weeks ahead of schedule the works on Azalea and Azahar streets in Nueva Andalucía and it has improved the image and road safety of a busy area close to Puerto Banús and the future Hard Rock hotel, as announced on Monday by the mayor of the branch, Diego López.

The councilor has stated that “the pace of the action has increased in recent days to have them finished as soon as possible and not cause inconvenience to neighbors or tourists who have been visiting us for some time.

Lopez has celebrated that both streets, “which had not been renovated for many years, They now have perfectly delimited parking spaces, much better lit by having placed streetlights with Led lights and, above all, with more safety for pedestrians thanks to the construction of new medians and roundabouts”.

With this performance, in addition to be better structured with 3,200 meters of road markingsthe parking spaces are now 16 more than before, “which also we guarantee easier parking and we are trying to compensate for the excess population forecast for these coming months in the area”, detailed the industry delegate.

It has also indicated that “aesthetics have been improved from a place close to one of the busiest spots in the city”, with nine palm trees (four transplanted from the same area and five new ones that have been added) and placing new curbs and a “colorful” red cobblestone in car park medians.
