Four of the five young people arrested last Sunday after holding two minors with weapons in a house in Puerto Banús have been left on provisional release as agreed this Tuesday by the Investigating Court number 2 of Marbella, who will continue to investigate the case, as reported by the Superior Court of Justice of Andalusia (TSJA).
The four young people are being investigated for the alleged commission of the crimes of illegal detention, sexual assault and illegal possession of a weapon. A fifth young man, a minor, was also arrested the night of the events for his alleged relationship in the case. Although, he has been made available to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office.
The events took place last Sunday morning in Marbella, around 5:00 a.m., when a young woman alerted the investigators that her friend was in a house with several men and that in the place there were weapons. In this way, agents of the National Police moved to the property.
Upon arriving at the house, the police officers located two girls, both minors, and five youths were arrested, one of them fracturing his ankle after falling from a wall when trying to flee from the agents. In addition, in the house they found a pistol and a submachine gun, which turned out to be simulated weapons, and a machete and a knife.
Police investigations suggest that the girls met the young men in a nightclub in Puerto Banús and that all voluntarily agreed to go to a house located in the vicinity of the premises, where they were consuming alcohol.
Although at first the possibility was pointed out that the young women could have suffered abuse after being drugged, the sources consulted by this newspaper assure that No consistsneither by the hospital where they were treated nor by their own manifestations, which were victims of any crime of a sexual nature. At the moment, the police investigation remains open until the facts are fully clarified.
