The artists Rosario Flores, Kiko Veneno, Camela, Rosa López and Ruth Lorenzo will perform at the Marbella Fair, which will be held from June 6 to 12, as announced this Thursday by the mayoress, Ángeles Muñoz.

This was highlighted by the councilor at a press conference in which she was accompanied by the Fiestas adviser, Yolanda Marín, as well as a large number of dance academies and neighbors.

As detailed, on Sunday, June 4, the patron saint festivities will start with the celebration of the Pilgrimage of San Bernabé as a preludea day in which the traditional hot chocolate with churros will take place “for free” in the Plaza de la Casa Hermandad, followed by the “procession” to the Ermita del Santo in the Pinar de Nagüeles, with the performance of the “Duo Arenal and the contest of the dance and paella academies”.

The Fair will begin on June 6 with “the lighting of the Arch of the fairgrounds” at 8:00 p.m., that “it is being set up and that this year it will have more than 50,000 square meters in the Arroyo Segundo area” and that this year it will be dedicated to “Juan Recio as president of the Peña Flamenca Sierra Blanca” , has pointed out the first mayor.

The ignition will follow “the proclamation of the Fair in the Terrazas del Puerto Deportivo” and that will be borne by the singer and composer José Manuel SotoMuñoz added, to which the coronation of the Queen, the King, Miss Congeniality and the ladies of the Fair will continue.

On Wednesday, June 7, Muñoz announced that the inauguration of the Day Fair at 1:00 p.m., as well as “the discovery of the plaque that will give a name to that Arch, and in this case it will be the La Buganvilla rock”, recalling that “this recognition had to be done because they are so many years those of you who are betting on the Fair”, he added.

As he has highlighted, this day will begin the programming in the Mi Hogar booth, intended for the elderly of the city, which will be installed in the Plaza del Mercado, with activities aimed at this type of public, the councilor has advanced.

On the other hand, he highlighted that “the big day of Marbella, on June 11, the festival of San Bernabé will begin with the civic-religious procession to the Cruz de Humilladero” after the Mass that will be celebrated in the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación at 10:00 a.m.

For children, he pointed out that on Thursday, June 8, starting at 7:00 p.m. there will be “popular prices for all children”, while on the 10th the placement of the banner of the Town Hall and later parades of bigheads and “the historical recreation of the entrance of King Ferdinand the Catholic in Marbella”, at 10:45 am.

In addition, Muñoz has advanced that “there will be day without noise for those who are affected by any problem”, which will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., on June 9 and 11 with “two hours without music in the attractions”.

On Monday, June 12, “the little ones will have that water day on Pablo Ráez boulevard as it has been traditional, with bouncy castles and numerous surprises”.

The musical program includes 5 concerts

Refering to music Programming, the mayoress has indicated that this year will be held in the Auditorium of the fairgrounds, starting on Friday, June 9, with a performance by Rosario Flores, who “is another of the great artists closely linked to Marbella”.

On Saturday, June 10, will take place “the Bernafest with concerts by Kiko Veneno, La Fauna and local bands”, while on Sunday the 11th it will be the turn of the singer Rosa López at 11:00 p.m., and Ruth Lorenzo. The day will be completed by the performance that Camela will offer on Avenida Ramón y Cajal in Marbella.
