The Cabopino golf course has hosted the presentation of the solidarity tournament twelfth poole solidarity Juan Cabrerawhich will take place on Sunday, June 18 at said facilities, and whose benefits will go to the Fundación Malagueña de Asistencia a Enfermos de Cáncer (FMAEC) and the Benalmádena Association for Disability Care (ABAD), as announced by this organization Wednesday.

The modality is individual stableford with 2 categories male and 1 female category, awarding the first 3 of each, although all participants will have a welcome gift.

The purpose of holding this tournament is solidarity and in this edition the beneficiaries will be the Malaga Foundation for Assistance to Cancer Patients (FMAEC) and the Benalmádena Association for Disability Care (ABAD)

The presentation was attended by Juan Cabrera, organizer of the tournament; Teresa Muñoz, vice president of ABAD; Catalina Ruiz, member of the association and Mónica Morales, social worker and general management of the same, in addition to José Aldecoa, president of FMAEC, and Gabriel Varo, secretary of the foundation

All of them have invited the public to attend the pooleemphasizing that this is an appointment not only for golf lovers who will have the opportunity to play in a privileged enclave, but also for those who wish to support the solidarity causes championed by FMAEC and ABAD.

FMAEC is a non-profit organization that was born in 2001 with the aim of offering emotional support to cancer patients and their families at any time during the disease. For this, it has a clinical team consisting of 2 psycho-oncologists and a social worker who are the ones who carry out all the projects, as well as all the services offered by the entity are free. Funding is provided by fundraising events, partners, public and private subsidies, and the sale of handicrafts and piggy banks.

For his part, ABAD is a non-profit association that since 2000 provides specialized care to people with any type of disability and their families, trying to be the reference entity for people with disabilities in Benalmadena and contributing from the ethical commitment with supports and opportunities, so that each person with intellectual or developmental disabilities and their family can develop a quality of life project.
