Estepona City Council informs that the Felipe VI Auditorium has scheduled more than twenty cultural activities for the autumn season.
The calendar of events will begin tomorrow, Saturday, September 24, with the performance of ‘Mester de Algarabía’ starring one of the best actors in our country, Rafael Álvarez ‘El Brujo’.
Next Friday, September 30, it will be the turn of one of the most beloved flamenco sagas in our country: Los Carmona. This performance, which will take place on the terrace of the venue, will feature the special participation of Antonio Carmona, former Ketama vocalist and one of the most applauded voices of flamenco fusion.
The new season of the Felipe VI Auditorium will continue to take the little ones very much into account. Thus, on September 25 the children’s show ‘La Ratita Presumida’ will be performed, on October 8 the musical ‘Blancanieves’, on October 23 ‘Pipo Pat. The Ugly Duckling’, on October 30 ‘The origin of ice (tribute to Frozen’, on November 12 ‘Dumbo. The Musical’, and on December 4 ‘The Wizard of Oz’.
On the other hand, ballet fans will be able to enjoy three shows: ‘The Dance of the Swans’ which will be performed by the kyiv Ballet on October 15, ‘Giselle’ which will be performed by the International Ballet Company on December 9 and ‘ The Nutcracker’ (kyiv Ballet’ on January 20.
The Felipe VI Auditorium will also host various comedy shows starring some of the most beloved comedians by the public. The first to go on stage will be Luis Fabra on October 22 with his work ‘Sincericide’, which will offer a humorous x-ray of the private life of our country.
On November 6, Santi Rodríguez, the unforgettable greengrocer from the television series ‘7 lives’, will perform the play ‘Espiritu’, a comedy to “die with laughter”.
The actor, musician and stand-up comedian Alex O’Dogherty will bring his latest show on November 25, while the comedian and actress Sara Escudero will perform her play ‘Tiempo al tiempo’ on January 14.
On the other hand, the autumn program is completed with ‘El Musical de los 80 a los 90’, a musical comedy in which the public will share the experience of the characters singing, dancing and being accomplices of each one of them. It will be performed on October 29.
Before, on October 1, the protagonists of the musical ‘Burlesque Show’, inspired by the film starring Cher and Christina Aguilera, will take to the stage. The Akelarre Theater company will offer this frenetic show that has 25 professionals who will perform great songs and exciting choreographies.
