Who doesn’t love the Manilva Harvest? With its good wine, its atmosphere, its people… Yes, this year is not going to be like the others due to the pandemic, and the City Council has wanted to allude to the responsibility so that it is done in a safe way and this holiday can be enjoyed in some way. But the Grape Cluster Contest could not be missed this year, as a great tradition of the town.
It will be this Sunday, September 5, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Plaza de la Vendimia. The City Council has proposed four awards: 290, 200, 150 and 100 euros, so that the most daring can show the best bunches in the area and get some money.
The great Harvest begins today Thursday and will last until Sunday, the “strong” day that this holiday has always had. Activities with attractions for the little ones, shows for the not so young and traditions such as the contest and, without being able to miss either, the famous grape tread.
