The third Futplayuni beach soccer camp will bring together 300 children on the beach of La Salida de San Pedro Alcántara until July 28, an initiative that will have the fifth edition of the tournament of this sport as the final touch, as reported this Wednesday by the deputy mayor of Sampedreño, Javier García .
This was announced by the municipal official together with the Councilor for Sports, Lisandro Vieytes, and the actor and singer Juan Manuel Montilla ‘El Langui’, who collaborates with this event organized by the City Council.
The initiative, which takes place from Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., will have as a final touch the fifth edition of the tournamentscheduled between July 28 and 30.
“It is one of the most important sporting events held in San Pedro, each year more consolidated in the calendar,” said García, who stressed that “it makes a great social function because it provides an alternative for reconciling work and family life once the school period ends”.
For his part, Vieytes, who has highlighted that it is a completely free campus, has thanked ‘El Langui’ “his work as ambassador of San Pedro Alcántara”, as well as it has stressed that “it is essential to instill sports values in youth” with an activity that “offers fun and an opportunity for socialization to the participants”.
Likewise, he has alluded to the fact that the tournament will bring together “not only the participants on campus, but also teams from out of town that they will be able to enjoy the city”.
Finally, ‘El Langui’ has valued the involvement of the Marbella Town Hall in promoting this initiative and has detailed that minors do, along with beach soccer, other complementary activities.
