The National Police intervened 60,990 euros in cash at an address in Mijas allegedly turned into a lucrative retail drug delivery.
The agents have arrested two people, including a housing manager, for his alleged involvement in a crime against public health. As a result of the entry and search of the property, in addition to the money, 128 grams of hashish and another 56 of cocaine, two precision scales, among other effects, have been seized, the National Police has indicated in a statement.
The Chameleon operation, which has been carried out by agents attached to the Specialized and Violent Crime Unit (UDEV) of the Fuengirola Local Police Station, began with information that pointed to the sale of drugs in a house in Calahondain Mijas.
After carrying out numerous steps, the investigators focused, in a residential area of the Costa del Sol town, the house under suspicion in which the illicit activity was taking place and identified the inhabitant of the property.
In this context, the Police also detected a important movement of people that he went to the home to acquire narcotics, a diligence that led to the making of several arrest warrants in the vicinity.
The agents entered and searched the property with the authorization of the competent judicial authority. There, 54,730 euros in banknotes, 6,260 euros in coins, 128.96 grams of hashish, 56.38 grams of cocainetwo precision scales, as well as various tools for preparing the doses.
The operation concluded with the dcare of two people, 36 and 37 years old, and the intervention of three motor vehicles. The facts are known by the Investigating Court number 1 of Fuengirola.
