A man has been dArrested this Tuesday for ramming the Civil Guard barracks with a vehicle of Mijas, where it has caused material damage to the wooden gate that gives access to the building, as confirmed by sources from the Benemérita.

The events took place this Tuesday around 2:00 p.m., and are “pending investigation” to clarify the reasons for the event, although it is considered that the man could have mental health problems.

Specifically, from the Civil Guard Command they have indicated that “a person has collided “this Tuesday against the door of the “main post of Mijas”, located on Mallorca street in the municipality of Fuengirola, exclusively causing “material damage” to it, and no other personal damages have been recorded.

This Civil Guard barracks is “old” and ccomprises a large gate-against which the individual has rammed with a white vehicle-, a “hall” or corridor and a door to access the patio, leaving the car immobilized in this second compartment, which “is not a place where there are usually people”, they have stressed.

The individual remains detained in the “main headquarters of Mijas” until the investigation clarifies the facts, that until the contrary is proven, “it is a traffic accident”.
