The solidarity initiative ‘No family without Christmas Eve dinner ‘ will distribute more than a thousand menus for dinner this Friday of vulnerable families in Marbella, thus exceeding the approximately 800 initially planned and that are being distributed in the commissary of the Association of Brotherhoods, in the basement of the Plaza de Toros, as highlighted by the mayor, Ángeles Muñoz.
The menus are made up of seafood soup, red cabbage salad, roast chicken in its own juice, baked potatoes with aromatic herbs and Christmas candy, which are being distributed in the municipal offices located on the ground floor of the Plaza de Toros, which the first mayor has visited.
Specifically, the Commissary of the Association of Brotherhoods It is where the distribution of the meals prepared by Fuerte Nagüeles, Triana, La Esquinita, David’s and Red Cloud is taking place, in Nueva Andalucía; and Mesón del Pueblo de Las Chapas.
Muñoz has highlighted that “the The objective is that no family is left without a dinner tonight and, furthermore, prepared with all the love and enthusiasm of the collaborators and all the volunteers, including Civil Protection, who are here today despite the rain ”.
The dynamics of this initiative has been that the Association of Brotherhoods of Marbella and Nueva Andalucía together with the districts (Marbella East, West, San Pedro Alcántara, Nueva Andalucía and Las Chapas) have been in charge of making the tickets available to the members of the brotherhood or residents in the different nuclei at a price of ten euros, an amount for which a person in need would receive the menu. The proceeds were delivered to the restaurants for the elaboration of the menus, finding for their part a large area in charge of the desserts, later being distributed among the vulnerable families of the city.
