The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated the yellow warning for this Monday in the area of ​​the Costa del Sol and Valle del Guadalhorce in the province of Malaga due to high temperatures and terral.

According to Aemet data, collected by Europa Press, the alert will remain active from 1:00 p.m. to 8:59 p.m. on Monday, September 5.

For that day, temperatures are expected that could reach 36 degrees, accompanied by offshore winds. In the capital it is expected to reach 35 degrees this Monday, as in other municipalities such as Estepona, Coín or Cártama.

The temperatures will be milder in coastal areas such as Marbella and Mijas, with a maximum of 31 degrees; and in the interior, where Antequera can also reach 31, but Ronda will not exceed 29 degrees.
