The province of Malaga has registered a new earthquake last night. A earthquake with epicenter at Casares with a magnitude of 3.1 degreeswhich has also been felt in the neighboring town of Estepona.
The earthquake, according to data collected by the National Geographic Institute (IGN), occurred shortly before three in the morning on Tuesday (at 02:40 a.m.) northwest of the municipality of Casares and about 20 kilometers deep.
IGN has listed it as an intensity II earthquake, this means that the tremor is felt only in isolated cases of individuals at rest and in especially receptive positions inside buildings. It does not cause any effect or material or personal damage.
