The luxurious Puerto Banús, located in Marbella, has hosted the inauguration of JoGis Bear‘, a new sculpture exhibit international created by the artist Jordi Gil Fernández, and which is made up of seven large bear-shaped sculptures, As reported this Friday by the concessionaire of the nautical area.

The art show is made up of seven two-meter-high bear-shaped sculptures, installed on a base that gives it another meter of level. According to its own creator, each of these pieces has the intention of ‘spread well-being and happiness’ to the viewer.

Accompanied by the commercial director and marketing from Puerto Banús, David del Barrio, the artist explained that ‘JoGis Bear’ are “some nice sculptures that try to connect with those who contemplate them, seeing reflected in its chrome paint with the intention of producing a sensory and emotional exchange between viewer and work”.

The artist has indicated that the most special sculpture of the exhibition is a bear that has gone the “fruit of a four month paint jobdrawn and painted by hand integrating the characters and cartoons more iconic.

“A work in tune with the modernization of Puerto Banús towards good vibes and youth, fitting perfectly into the unique and fun marine art. My intention was to produce a work with a lot of color, a daring and at the same time childish sculpturesomething special and customizable”, he highlighted.

Puerto Banús has been the space chosen by the artist himself to present for the first time its exhibition ‘JoGis Bear’which can be visited for almost five months in this marina, until January 15, 2023to later be exhibited in cities such as London or Dubai, where it already has dates to be exhibited.
