The mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, has received the deputy consul general of Saudi Arabia in Malaga, Ibrahim Ali A. “For Marbella, the direct flights between Malaga and Saudi Arabia in recent months have been very beneficial in terms of visitors to this country and we understand that a permanent connection throughout the year will mean very positive figures and the more frequent arrival of a profile of tourist closely linked to our city and very interesting for the municipality, which is characterized by its high purchasing power and for being one of those that spend the most at the destination”, highlighted the first mayor. Muñoz explained that “Saudi Airlines’ routes from the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah to Malaga respond to the great demand of tourists from this country on the Arabian Peninsula who want to discover our destination, especially Marbella”. “Furthermore, they are not only beneficial for the tourism sector, but also for the commercial sector, since it allows a very important connection for the businessmen of this kingdom with the capital of the Costa del Sol, where there are important investments”, she pointed out.
Likewise, both the mayor and the vice-consul have highlighted the increase in visitors from this kingdom that Marbella has registered during this summer and which is expected to multiply in the coming years.
