From tomorrow, September 16, until Sunday, September 18, Avinguda de la Fontanilla in Marbella will become the stage for the international Irish music festival ‘Freedom Feile’, an event in which the City Council collaborates to “promote the integration of the different countries and cultures that coexist in the city”, according to the Councilor for Resident Foreigners, Remedio Bocanegra.
The mayor has detailed that during the three days, in addition to music, traditional Irish food and drink will be offered and has added that the schedule on Friday will be from 5:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., while on Saturday and Sunday it will take place between 12:00 and 11:30 p.m. Bocanegra has encouraged the city’s residents and tourists to come to this location, with free admission, where international and local bands such as ‘Secret Police’, ‘Dr. No’, ‘Black Jam’, ‘Sean Murray’, ‘Magnet Mand and The Attraction Band’, ‘Blues Stomper Jump Review’, ‘Joaquín Viera Trío’, ‘Art Club Band’, ‘Rastiki’, ‘Sugarboo’, ‘ Killer Rockets’, ‘Coovers’, ‘Stereo 80′, ’80ERS’, ‘5 Minute Memory’ and ‘Wall St. Band’.
