The Casares City Council, coinciding with the Mayor’s Day last Friday, has launched the new Active Maturity programming. This autumn, the elderly will be able to enjoy different novelties in the return to face-to-face activities, including the Bingo, one of the most demanded in the municipality, which will have two sessions: October 28 and November 24.
Likewise, collective crafts continue after their great success. On this occasion, the participants will make Christmas decorations.
Another novelty this season is the realization of guided routes to learn about the history of Casares. With an adapted itinerary that will be carried out by Javier Martos from the local Acaire cooperative. In addition, cultural outings are also planned, although the destination has yet to be determined. A workshop for centerpieces and Christmas decorations, and as a sports proposal, the elderly will have maintenance gymnastics.
From the Provincial Council, a program of activities has also been organized in October as a reason for the month of the elderly. And also, there will be a petanque workshop that will be taught at the Playa Ancha track every Wednesday morning, in addition to hiking trails on October 5 and 19.
