The mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, has received the local priest, José Antonio Melgar and neighbors of our municipality whose initiative has been to launch Caritas Manilva.
Its directors and Melgar himself, as president, have talked with the alderman and have transferred their main objective, which is to help society in values so that there is equality, respect and opportunities to have a decent life.
As the mayor commented, “as said association promulgates, promoting the integral development of people and peoples, especially the poorest and most excluded, is a necessary task for our society and I wish them all the necessary luck, of course, with municipal support,” he concluded.
