Casares continues to advance as a cardioprotected municipality and, after the installation of new defibrillators for public use by the City Council, which has already created 14 cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) points in Casares, Secadero and Costa, now a training program is being launched aimed at professionals from different sectors.
This new phase of CPR training is aimed at merchants, hoteliers, taxi drivers, educational and municipal staff in the areas closest to the cardioprotected points. In total, 64 people from the municipality will be trained in the courses that will be offered on October 18, 19, 20 and 21 in Casares, Secadero and Costa.
The objective is to promote cardioprotection through early defibrillation and the reduction of sudden death in the municipality. Currently, they are 14 defibrillators located in public spaces, municipal facilities, schools and sports centers in the three urban centers, which for the most part have access from the outside to allow their use at any time.
These are the public spaces in the municipality that have defibrillators:
- In Casares: Blas Infante School, Soccer Stadium ‘1 de mayo’, Municipal Gymnasium, Llano Parking, Plaza de España, Blas Infante Cultural Center / Castle Enclosure, Camachas Street and Monte Street Parking.
- In coast: Casares Costa Mayor’s Office and Casares Costa Taxi Stand / Crossroads.
- In Dryer: Office of the Mayor of Secadero, Los Almendros School and Plaza Andalucía / Municipal Nursery.
