The Casares City Council is working on the call for scholarships for training in carpentry. A new program to improve the employability of the local population which includes training for 6 people with internships in local carpenter companies, who have also participated in the design of the course syllabus.
The Councilor for Employment, Rocío Ruiz, has reported that the initiative has already been fully and definitively approved the regulatory ordinance of these training scholarships, which has been published in the Official Gazette of the Provincial on September 17, and now the Consistory is working to open the call.
Through the scholarships for training in carpentry, the City Council finances the cost of training in carpentry, given by an entity specialized in training, and in collaboration with companies in the sector of the municipality, for which it allocates a total of 25,000 euros.
The training is aimed at people registered in Casares, unemployed or with a job improvement card, with insufficient financial resources and little training. And their purpose is to improve their employability and thereby favor their incorporation into the labor market.
