The Casares City Council has launched a playroom for children from 3 to 12 years old, a service that aims to facilitate conciliation and offers workshops and bonus activities that range from one hour to the full afternoon. It works from Monday to Friday in Casares on the Coast.
The Councilor for Education, Rocío Ruiz, has pointed out that this is a service that had already been carried out in the town in a particular way and that the City Council wanted to offer it «on understanding that it could be a very valid tool in order to facilitate conciliation for families in the municipality«.
The service works under reservation, which can be done in advance by telephone at the Social Welfare office, calling 952 895519. You can make use of individual hours, at a price of three euros, or purchase one of the Two vouchers available: the five-hour ticket, which costs 12 euros, or the 10-hour ticket, which costs 20 euros.
These vouchers do not expire and can be used in the way that best suits the family throughout the course, either for individual hours, or for several hours on the same day or in the same week.
It is essential to reserve a place so that groups of children can be organized according to their age, having the necessary monitors every day. What’s more, groups will be limited to the capacity contemplated in the COVID protocol that exists at all times.
Children will be scheduled to perform handicraft workshops, audiovisual projection, supervised free play and reading animation. The service is offered at the Casares municipal toy library from Monday to Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and at the Casares Costa municipal library from Monday to Friday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
