Cinesa, the leading film exhibition company in Spain, announces the closure of its theaters in La Cañada.
After 22 years offering the best cinema experiences, the company part of Odeon Cinemas Group is going to cease the activity of its cinema located in the Malaga Shopping Center. After months of negotiation with the owners of the premises, Cinesa will definitively shut down its projections in La Cañada as they have not reached an agreement with the property of the Shopping Center to extend the lease.
Cinesa has always worked to bring a dynamic and diverse cinematographic offer to Malaga, with programming and activities for all audiences. That is why the exhibitor will continue to contemplate this province within its expansion strategy in Andalusia. The company is always on the lookout for new growth opportunities, also in this area, to add new screens to the approximately 500 theaters it has in our country.
Continuing with its commitment to its employees, Cinesa has made available to all the workers of Cinesa La Cañada the possibility of continuing to work in the same La Cañada cinema with the new operator of these theaters. The possibility of moving to other company cinemas has also been offered, always guaranteeing the same working conditions and ensuring the best welfare of the employee.
