An intense column of smoke, visible from numerous points in Malaga capital, has set off the alarms shortly before one o’clock in the afternoon this Friday. It’s a forest fire declared in Mijasin the area of El Higuerón, as reported by Infoca on its Twitter account.
Until, the Infoca Plan has sent up to eight air vehicles to try to control the flames, in addition to four groups of forest firefighters.
Specifically, there are 1 coordination plane (ACOA-4), 3 helicopters (LA-7, MA-40, MA-41), 1 Super Puma (KA-70), 3 cargo planes on the ground (TA -2, TA-3, TA-7), 4 Bricas, 4 groups of forest firefighters, 2 environmental agents and 2 fire engines.
