The theater actor Rafael Álvarez ‘El Brujo’ will present his new show, ‘Master of Algarabía’, next Saturday, September 24, at 7:00 p.m., at the Felipe VI Auditorium in Estepona, as reported by the City Council this Friday.
The work is built on the aesthetics of medieval troubadours and minstrelsboth in the style of Christian and Arab traditions, being a show based on the figure of the minstrel as a vehicle for information and communication culture in the Middle Ages.
“The Life is a journey from Seville to Burgosgoing through Granada, which is not necessary, but if we want to make a detour, we can go through there”, said the actor.
‘Mester de Algarabía’ is an idea that arose on a path, at night under the stars, traveling from Córdoba to Extremadura. The show has praises, stories and poems of yesterday and forever. “It has me”, explains Rafael Álvarez, and Javier Alejano with his music, and new things, like ‘El collar de la Paloma’ by Ibn Hazm, which this year celebrates the first millennium of its appearance.
