The City Council of Estepona has announced 10 scholarships for musical training in the municipal band of music of the city, whose bases have been published today in the Official Gazette of the Province of Malaga (BOPMA), as reported by the Consistory on Monday.
In this edition, which has a budget item of 17,500 eurosand a total of 10 young people will be selected, between 16 and 24 years old, who will receive theoretical and practical training for a maximum period of seven months.
This training project, which was launched in 2020, offers students fellows the opportunity to perform in concerts with the municipal music band. The training activities to develop with a place are those of flute/piccolo, horn ,flugelhorn and percussionwhile there will be two scholarships for trombone, Y trumpet.
Students will have a theoretical-practical training schedule of eight hours per week, distributed in collective training sessions of two hours for three days a week, in the municipal music workshop. Likewise, two hours per week will be accumulated, thus creating a bag of hours to later develop it in the practical activities that are taught.
The deadline for submitting applications, together with the required documentation, will be ten calendar days counted from tomorrow, Tuesday, the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the Official Gazette of the Province. scholarships will be awarded through a competitive bidding processand taking into consideration the documentation provided in the application.
