The City Council of Estepona celebrated this Friday the Tourist Day with the traditional delivery of flowers to visitors that passed through the surroundings of the Plaza de Las Flores, as well as offers throughout the day discounts on leisure activities, as announced by the deputy mayor of the Development, Infrastructure and Tourism Area (FIT), Ana Velasco.
In this way, it has been token of appreciation to tourists who have chosen the city as their holiday destination, being the Ladies and Queens of the Fairs and Major Festivals of Estepona the ones in charge of making flower delivery.

On the other hand, Ana Velasco has underlined that Estepona is having a good tourist season and according to the monthly municipal bulletin prepared by Malaga Costa del Sol, the city received during the month of June 59,513 travelers staying in hotels10.09% more than in 2019. This has meant a total of 180,608 overnight stays, 19.18% more than in the same period of 2019.
