The City Council of the Malaga municipality of Estepona has decreed two days of official mourning and flags at half-staff for the death of the former mayor of Estepona Manuel Sánchez Bracho.
The Municipal Corporation has conveyed its condolences to his family and friends “for this sad loss for the city,” the City Council reported in a statement.
In February 2020, the City Council dedicated a passage in the center of Estepona to Manuel Sánchez Bracho in recognition of his career as a teacher and writer.
