The Estepona City Council has awarded the supply and service of implementation and technical assistance of a software management specific for the Local Police, resulting in the award of the company Suitable Software Vinfoval, SL with an investment of 57,632.30 euros, as announced this Friday by the Deputy Mayor of the Economic, Innovation and Human Resources area, José María Ayala.
The mayor has indicated that with this action, the City Council continues to advance in its electronic headquarters project with the implementation of this new technology adapted to the service provided by the agents of the local security corps.
In this sense, the municipal official has indicated that expanding the project of electronic headquarters to the Local Police Headquarters It will have an impact on an improvement in the service offered to citizens, since it will benefit all areas of activity carried out by the agents. In addition, staff will be able to process documentation and files with greater agility and will have greater access to georeferenced data.
The new software which will be implemented in the Local Police Headquarters and will be integrated into the programs that the City Council has, both to house its electronic headquarters and to use territorial information. In this way, the Estepona Local Police will be able to optimize the geographic and statistical data provided by the system implemented in the Town Hall.
These new modules software will also facilitate Communications from the Estepona Local Police Headquarters with other police officers, as well as with judicial administrations. This system contemplates all the needs of the Local Police, covering the different areas of activity with modules corresponding to Administration, Agents, Vehicles, Attempts, Mediation, Violence, Ordinances / Sanctions, Consultations, Telephony, Reviews and Mobility.
This project, which has been awarded to the company Suitable Software Vinfoval, SL and which represents an investment of 57,632.30 euros (VAT included), is included within the Integrated Sustainable Development Strategy (EDUSI-Estepona, Jardín de la Costa del Sol), co-financed with ERDF funds.
With the implementation of electronic administration and the electronic headquarters for the citizen, in recent years the City Council has made a rigorous and ambitious commitment to bring new technologies to residents so that they can relate to the local administration in a simple, agile way and with all the guarantee.
In this sense, it must be remembered that Association of Telecommunications Engineers of Andalusia (AITA) in 2019 awarded the Estepona City Council for this project of ‘Electronic Headquarters for the Citizen’, for its commitment to digital transformation and technologies, specifically for information and communication technologies.
