The Estepona Town Hall has organized a summer cultural agenda which includes more than a hundred activities aimed at all kinds of audiences, including music and humor shows, a summer cinema or fashion week, as announced by the deputy mayor of the Sociocultural area, Paula Herrera .
This has been highlighted by the municipal manager in the presentation of the event, where she has been accompanied by the councilor attached to the Fiestas area, Macarena Diánez.
Herrera has pointed out that this year several free events that have been consolidated in recent years as the Espeto festivalwhich will be held from July 27 to 29 on La Rada beach, and which on this occasion will include a Tribute to ABBA, a Tribute to Andalusian Rock and the XXI Reggae Night.
From August 18 to 20, the free music festival Angel Festival. world music, which this year will feature performances by artists from Cuba, Brazil and the United States at Parque del Ángel. As a novelty, this year from August 25 to 27 the 1st Costa del Sol Manga Festival will be held at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos.
Another appointment that cannot be missed in the summer of Estepona is the World Popi Ham Contest City of Estepona, from August 8 to 15 on the Paseo Marítimo. In this edition it will offer a total of eight free concerts by artists such as Joana Jiménez, José ‘El Francés’, ‘Decai’ or ‘La Guardia’, among others.
The Estepona bullring will also be the scene of various artistic events. The Orquidario will host a summer cinema
For her part, the councilor attached to the Fiestas area, Macarena Diánez, highlighted that the Orquidario Botanical Park gardens will once again become a summer cinema, from next July 12 to August 23. Movies for all audiences such as Minions will be broadcast every Wednesday. The origin of Gru, Sonic 2: the movie or A Samurai hero: the Legend of Hank. This year, as a novelty, Jurassic World: Dominion will be screened on August 30 in the Plaza de la Juventud in Cancelada.
Fashion will also have its place on the summer agenda with the Estepona Fashion Week, which will be held from September 20 to 23 at the Botanical-Orchid Park. Organized by the Estepona Town Hall, Juanchy García Estudio and Miguel Toledo, the event includes the IV edition of the Young Designers Contest.
On the other hand, from September 3 to 9 the XXIV International Fantastic Film Week of the Costa del Solwhich this year will be dedicated to serial killers and which will feature Laura Chaplin as the Festival’s Godmother.
