Estepona Town Hall is undertaking emergency works to repair the damage caused by recent storms on the stretch of promenade runs next to the Arena Beach urbanizationsome works that have a budget of 16,308 euros.
The deputy mayor of the Development, Infrastructure and Tourism (FIT) area, Ana Velasco, has indicated that the works will improve the space that has been affected due to heavy rainfall and ensure that citizens can travel Safely.
The performance focuses on repair of a sinkhole that had to be fenced off to avoid pedestrian accidents. It is also proceeding to placement of a rock wall next to the sanitation manholes to prevent the structures from being affected by an earth movement.
Velasco has pointed out that in this section of the promenade there will also be replace public lighting and irrigation pipesand a new one will be installed red stamped concrete flooring similar to the existing one. The works have a budget of 16,308 euros (VAT included).
In addition to repairing the sinkhole caused by the storm, the Consistory will demolish a portion of the Arena Beach promenade which was also affected by waves and heavy rains.
