The Estepona City Council has highlighted this Monday that the hotels in the city have been “the most profitable in Spain” during the month of August, experiencing the sector in the city an increase of 30% in profitability compared to the same period last year, according to data provided by the National Institute of Statistics (INE).
The revenue per available room reached 249.25 euros per night in the hotel establishments of the city, while the Spanish average stood at 101.6 euros. Thus, Estepona is in first place followed by Marbella (236.39 euros) and San Sebastián (195.77 euros).
The INE also highlights that the profitability of hotels in Estepona during the month of August it has been seen increased by 30% compared to the same period in 2021.
