Estepona will host the fifth edition of EsteponGO !, the V Salon of Manga, Viodeojuegos and Alternative Culture.
This leisure event, which will take place on November 20 and 21, will be held this year at the Municipal Booth of the Fair Park, Sports
The mayor of Sports and Youth has highlighted the charitable nature that the event will have, since all the proceeds will go to operate in Spain on a child who suffers from heart disease and who does not have access to this type of surgery in his country of origin. This action can be carried out thanks to the agreements that the NGO Infancia Solidaria maintains with different Andalusian hospitals.
Likewise, the councilor has shown his satisfaction at retaking this event so demanded by young people and that last year could not be held due to the pandemic. Bandera has indicated that the facilities of the Municipal Booth and its exteriors are being adapted to accommodate fans of this type of leisure that will gather during that weekend.
As stated by the mayor, EsteponGO! It has managed to consolidate itself as one of the references of leisure ‘geek’ in Andalusia and one of the alternative culture halls with the greatest projection in the country.
For his part, David Ferrer León explained that, in addition to the solidarity nature of this activity, another of the main objectives of this year is to return the fun to fans of this type of alternative culture, following all the necessary health measures.
For this, the capacity will be reduced according to the restrictions in force at this time. There will be two shifts with hours from 10:00 to 15:00 and from 16:00 to 21:00, and between each of them half an hour will be allocated for the disinfection of the premises.
In addition, there will be delimited areas with reduced capacity, access control and activities with the participants seated. The use of a mask will be mandatory, hydroalcoholic gel will be made available to the public, cleaning will be carried out before and after each activity and individual material will be available for the events planned in the program.
For better control of activities and in order to maintain social distance, the space has been divided into different areas: commercial, artisanal and ‘Artist Alley’, workshops, activities, stages and gamer. This last area will in turn be divided into two modalities, the tournament, in which prior registration will be essential and in which it will only be possible to access while participating in it; and that of ‘freeplay’, whose access will be controlled and where visitors will be able to play freely depending on the availability of the seats. Only two people will be admitted for each of them and they will be duly separated to respect social distance.
Likewise, Toni Camacho has valued that during these two days attendees will be able to enjoy more than a hundred activities, among which the conferences on dubbing will stand out, which will include the participation of the well-known dubber and announcer David Sampalo, as well as exhibitions and related activities with the world of Harry Potter, Disney princesses and K-Pop contests.
Finally, those responsible for the organization have announced that this year there will be a reduction in the price of the ticket, which will cost 3 euros per day.
