Fuengirola City Council promotes a professional skills workshop for unemployed people from Fuengirola. This free course will take place on October 17 and 18, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Los Boliches Mayor’s Office. It is aimed at 15 people from the city and can be requested until the 14th at the aforementioned facilities. This was announced today by the mayor responsible for Training and Job Creation, Carmen Díaz, who highlighted that “in this workshop we will work on content related to the skills necessary for professional and personal development, as well as the digital ones that they make it easier for us to function in the work environment for the job search”.
This course aims to improve the employability of the citizens of Fuengirola and will have the following contents: autonomous learning, organization and task planning; communication skills and teamwork; conflict resolution and frustration tolerance; and basic digital skills (use of mobile applications). This training lasts ten hours and in order to participate in it the following requirements must be met: be registered in Fuengirola, be unemployed and registered in the SAE as well as in Portalemp (employment portal of the Fuengirola City Council).
“All the people who are interested in developing this workshop, which will be very useful when searching for a job, can still do so at the Los Boliches Mayor’s Office,” he concluded.
