The Hospital Quirónsalud Marbella and the Guardianship Foundation and Personal Assistance (Fundatul) have signed a collaboration framework agreement with the main objective of promoting the labor inclusion of people with disabilities through internships at the Marbella health center.
The agreement has been signed by Maria Jose Pandomanager of Fundatul, and the territorial operations director of the Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital, Dr. Miguel Calderon. In the act of formalizing this collaboration agreement, the representative of the entity has shown her gratitude for the interest of the Quirónsalud group and, in particular, the management of the Marbella hospital for its labor integration program.
During his visit to the facilities of the center in Marbella, Pando stressed “the importance of the support from the business fabric which, with its support, allows the candidates to acquire professional skills in a real work context which, in most cases, is usually a transitional stage towards the consolidation of subsequent contracts”.
For his part, Dr. Calderón underlined the firm commitment of Quirónsalud Marbella Hospital to “contribute and contribute to the city by taking on challenges and projects that promote growth of a more inclusive society. We understand this program as a great opportunity to reinforce the corporate social responsibility objectives of the healthcare group to which we belong and which are promoted by the Quironsalud Foundation. Today is a day on which we are proud to be able to offer people with disabilities a real opportunity for job placement and we encourage the rest of the companies in Marbella to include inclusion and diversity objectives in their hiring criteria.”
The collaboration between Hospital Quirónsalud Marbella and Fundatul is committed to a global integration of the beneficiaries of this program to the extent that it promotes their integration in different departments professionals (nursing assistant, maintenance, administration…). The Marbella hospital has been setting up an inclusive workforce for years and this agreement means taking another step in its commitment to diversity and integration.
Fundatul was born in 1997 with the aim of promoting inclusion in all areas, creating a support structure around people with disabilities and people in a situation of dependency and greater vulnerability whose follow-up and support assumes this local entity. Likewise, it carries out leisure and free time activities with the purpose of complementing the independent living programs of the people they serve and strengthening their learning aimed at individual and group self-management.
