A fire in Marbella has set off the alarms on the afternoon of this Tuesday. The forest firefighting service in Andalusia, the Infoca Plan, fights against a fire declared in the Benavolá area of ​​that municipality after 7:00 p.m.

As reported by Infoca on its Twitter account, even the area has been mobilized until six air means: one heavy, one medium and one light helicopter, along with two cargo planes on the ground and one coordination plane.

They are joined by three operations technicians, an environmental agent, two Bricas and six groups of forest firefighters, who they work on land in the extinction tasks. In addition, a Medical Unit has been displaced.

Luckily, the forest firefighters have managed to give up stabilized the fire in a short time, as reported by Infoca, although the troops continue working to consider it controlled.

It must be remembered that the risk of fires this Tuesday in the province of Malaga is very high, due to the high temperatures. The Serranía de Ronda and the Antequera region are on yellow and orange alert, respectively, and the heat wave is expected to intensify this Wednesday.

In fact, for the second time this month the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has activated a red notice for heat in Malagawhich will affect the Costa del Sol and the capital, due to temperatures that can reach 45 degrees; while in Antequera and the Axarquía the alert is orange level and in Ronda, yellow.

The director of the Aemet of Malaga, Jesus Riescodetails that the situation of extreme conditions that, again, the province will experience is due to the entry into action of the west airwhich, as many Malaga residents already know by dint of suffering it, brings with it increased temperatures and environmental dryness.
