Everything is ready for the 7th Conference on Urbanism, Territory and the Environment to be held in Manilva on October 21st.
With the title: “The municipalities in the new territorial and urban planning of Andalusia”, this new event, organized by the General Foundation of the University of Malaga and the City Council of Manilva, will be dedicated especially to the Law of Impulse for the Territorial Sustainability of Andalusia, to which a first approach was already made in last year’s session.
The modality will be face-to-face in the Plenary Hall of the Manilva City Council. Calle Dr. Álvarez Leiva, 4, 29691 Manilva.
And the possibility of participating in them online is also enabled.
It should be remembered that the registration date will be open until October 14, 2022.
In this edition, and continuing with the traditional practical contribution of relevant urban experiences, from the General Foundation of the University of Malaga they want to highlight the commitment made by the Municipal Corporation of Manilveña in previous Conferences, to elaborate the lines of action of the future Agenda Urbana of our town, which will be exhibited by those responsible for the technical teams in charge of its preparation, Ms. Beatriz Sendín Jiménez (n’UNDO) and Mr. Fernando Prieto del Campo (Observatory of Sustainability).
The Mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, and the Councilor for Urban Development, Marcos Ruiz, are pleased that Manilva is once again hosting a conference that deals with such transcendental issues as the development of towns and cities.
Ruiz delved into the importance of having clear guidelines when approaching urban planning «from Manilva we are focusing on growth with sustainable development where common areas, green and public spaces are combined with the residential section, infrastructures and services. All this to improve the quality of life of citizens », he pointed out.
