As every year Manilva celebrated its grape festival in style, although this year certain differences could be noticed due to the pandemic, such as the aabsence of shadows and bars with the purpose of minimize the risk of contagion among the population.

Thus, in yesterday’s day, popularly called ‘Rociero Sunday’, a series of acts took place such as the Grape Cluster Contest, whose winners were four lucky ones who obtained four different metallic quantities, according to the size of their grape bunches presented.

Later the institutional act of the ‘tread the grape ‘, this year with limited capacity. The City Council wanted to pay tribute in the form of gratitude to the Peña Cultural Flamenca de Manilva, the Brotherhood of Ntra. Sra. De los Dolores and Ntro. Father Jesús Nazareno and the Peña Caballista de Manilva for their historic contribution to the Harvest Festival.

The event was accompanied by live music performed by the teachers of the School of Music. As the culmination of this day, the municipality ended with the performance of the local group, ‘Al Son del Potaje’.
