A few days ago, the march against suicide organized by the Vida Girasol Association of the town took place as planned.
This activity, included in the ‘Yellow September’ program and whose objective is to raise awareness about suicide prevention, had many participants.
In this way, the director of the Social Welfare area, Pilar Zúñiga, accompanied by Joseane Nóbrega, a member of the association, was happy to start this type of event that makes this disease visible.
Wearing yellow shirts, which can be purchased at the entity itself, the attendees left the Chiringuito ‘El Paseo’ to El Castillo de la Duquesa on a day dedicated to celebrating life.
In addition, the Vida Girasol Association celebrates its first anniversary and, for this reason, a barbecue will be held in which there will be musical animations, on September 10 at the Chiringuito ‘El Paseo’.
