Manilva will host the I Provincial Cup of Petanque. The Diputación de Málaga, with the collaboration of the participating municipalities, has launched this new competition, in which the Málaga municipalities will also participate from Algarrobo, Carratraca, Casabermeja, Colmenar, Stone Fountain, Genalgualcil, Humilladero, Istán, Jimera de Líbar, Pizarra and Tolox.
The I Provincial Cup of Petanque will be held next month with the initial or group phase. Manilva, whose participants are integrated into the Club CASAMA, is included in group 1 with the municipalities of Genalguacil, Istán, and Jimera de Líbar. As reported by the mayor of Sports, Manolo Gil, the Manilveña headquarters corresponds to the first day and will take place in the Petanque City of Sabinillas next October 2 from 10:00 a.m..
The second appointment will take place on October 9 in Istán. The final phase, which will be accessed by the three best of each group, will be held in Humilladero on the 23rd of the same month. The Provincial Cup will be played in the Mixed categories of over 50, over 60 and over 70.
