The special team of our national tennis has hung the silver in the European held throughout the weekend in Hungary. Our neighbor, Vicente Muñoz Benítez, member of the expedition and coach at the CD Raqueta Manilva, has achieved this great sporting success, together with Dani González and the rest of his teammates, after having a spectacular tournament.
During the last day of the Unified European Special Olympics Tennis Championship, Spain played in the final phase of the event after performing very well both on Friday and Saturday in Budapest.
The Spanish team beat France 4-1 / 4-2 in the semifinals and in the grand final of the tournament they fell to the hosts, Hungary, by a double 4-2.
A great sporting and international achievement in this event that featured the best teams on the continent and the invitation of Morocco.
From the Manilva town hall, Mayor Mario Jiménez and the Mayor of Sports, Manolo Gil, congratulate Vicente Muñoz for this great news and above all for promoting and working for sports for the disabled.
