This was highlighted by the councilor in a visit she made to the area together with the councilor for the branch, Diego López, and the manager of the Hidralia company, Fulgencio Díaz, where she explained that “it is one of the larger projects that is being undertaken in the city and is being carried out in sections to interfere as little as possible in the day-to-day lives of residents and shopkeepers”, while underlining that “it was a very necessary work, which is going to affect the quality of life of residentsrearranging the urban space and revitalizing the image of the entire environment”.
Muñoz has specified that the first phase has been developed in a total area of 2,864 square meters between Miraflores and Reino de Aragón streets to Salvador Rueda. In addition, I have carried out a expansion of the sidewalk between Cortijo and Miraflores streets allocating more space to the pedestrian since, as Muñoz has specified, “they were very narrow roads with very old trees that had caused damage to some pipes and it was necessary to act to adapt the space to what the 2030 Agenda marks.”
