The City Council of marbella has drawn up the ‘social innovation master plana document that will mark the roadmap to promote a collaborative and citizen-oriented economy in the municipality, as reported this Friday by the councilor for the sector, Cristóbal Garre.
This was highlighted by the mayor in the presentation of the document together with Diego Isabel La Moneda, founder of the Global Hub for The Common Good and director of the Nesi Forum, where he stressed that “our objective is establish the north of where we want to go as a locality and develop the necessary strategies to make it increasingly sustainable and digitized, positioning it as one of the best in the world”. At the same time, he has indicated that “we are promoting an enterprise that is capable of solving the real problems that we face as a society.”
Garre has specified that “the plan has been designed by a specialized team and by the hand of an international benchmark in this field such as La Moneda, with the collaboration of thirty groups that represent the economic and social fabric of the municipality such as CIT Marbella, Apymem or Les Roches, among others”.
On the other hand, Garre has advanced that the plan “is a work tool not only for this year, but it is a open and participatory document that contemplates concrete actions that we are going to begin to implement”.
In this sense, it has specified that actions such as the celebration of a gamification congress or the organization of one-off collaborative housing events, an area that “we are already addressing with entities such as Fundatul and which would involve the transfer of municipal land so that disabled people can enjoy this type of space when they do not have a family.”
