Marbella firefighters rescued 12 students this Sunday who had become disoriented in the area of the Buenavista Mine, above Nagüeles, in an intervention that lasted between 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

As reported by the municipal body, the young people were located by a team made up of three agents in good condition and moved to a safe place.

The Fire Prevention and Extinction Service recommends that people who want to enjoy the mountain always be equipped for possible changing weather, “Since they can go out on a sunny day and complicate the day from the meteorological point of view,” said the Fire Chief, Medardo Tudela, who also advises wearing minimal supplies of food and drink to face any unforeseen event.
