Marbella today hosts the first day that will take place in the province to make known to entities and social entrepreneurs new opportunities and resources. “Since 2007, we have been working on social innovation as part of the line of action for economic development and SMEs because we are committed to training responsible companies with values that can solve environmental problems,” explained the Councilor for Employment.
The municipality will host the first node of La Noria, a reference program launched by the Diputación de Málaga, with the aim that several mentors, in different locations, share with the associative fabric the real experiences that are being developed at this time .
For her part, the deputy for Social Innovation, Natacha Rivas, has pointed out that “entrepreneurship in this field is a formula to address the challenges we face in Malaga and the Costa del Sol looking for alternative solutions”: «We try to identify the resources that each region has to face its specific problems and, through the practical cases presented by the mentors, attendees can be more aware of the tools at their fingertips”.
«In April we held a virtual fair in which we detected the need to promote training and extend knowledge through face-to-face events such as the one we are holding today in Marbella and which will also be held in the other seven nodes with which La Noria tells in the province ”, Rivas highlighted.
