The Marbella City Council approved this Monday the implementation of a partial plan to promote the urban Development on the southern area of San Pedro Alcántara at a local meeting.
This plan stands out for being large-scale, which will affect 110,000 square meters of land located between José Echegaray and Lyon streets, in the southern district. It is contemplated to establish 22,000 square meters of green areas, 8,865 destined for the equipment, 205 parking spaces and more of 380 homes, 112 of which are in official protection.
Before implementing part of the plan, the City Council has sent the document to the Sustainable Development Commission of the Junta de Andalucía to start the process of strategic environmental assessment.
The Local Government Board has also reported on the bidding process for the comprehensive remodeling of several streets of the Sagrado Corazón neighborhood, at the request of the neighbors, and two urban planning licenses have been approved for single family homes by 700,000 euros in each case and another for 16, in the Río Real area, with a material execution budget of almost four million euros.
