Starting next Monday, September 12, the Marbella Local Police will deploy a device in a total of 42 educational centers of the municipality for ensure student safety during the school year, as reported this Friday by the councilor of the branch, José Eduardo Díaz.
The mayor has participated today in a Coordination meeting together with the Education areas of Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara and has detailed that this meeting “is one of the most important of the year due to the demands that an operation like this requires for the control of entrances and exits of the student campuses.
Díaz has indicated that each course “our functions have been increasing in more centers and, in this sense, this meeting helps us to know the reality that we are going to facewith the novelty this year that There are no restrictions due to the pandemic. and he added that “this morning we have reviewed each educational facility to attend to the circumstances of each one of them”.
“Furthermore, we not only attend to the entrance and exit of the same, our police are also there to help families with what they need and we also develop throughout the course different awareness and information campaigns”, he pointed out.
For his part, the head of the Local Police, Javier Martín, explained that other functions carried out during the school period have to do with the campaigns against absenteeism or drug dealing, Mainly in high schools.
He has also pointed out that the agents also cover recreation periods and as for the awareness campaigns“this year we want to focus them fundamentally on personal mobility vehicles, which are used by more and more young people and they need to be aware of the rules that regulate them”.
